Welcome

This is the personal web site of Antonios Manousakis

Since October 2012, I am a postdoctoral fellow at The N. Copernicus Astronomical Center (or Centrum Astronomiczne im. Mikolaja Kopernika, CAMK, itself part of the Polish Academy of Sciences), located in Warsaw, Poland.

Previously, I was a doctoral candidate (Ph.D. 2011) and postdocotral fellow at the University of Geneva, in Switzerland, where I was at the ISDC Data Center for Astrophysics. Before that, I obtained my diploma in Physics from the University of Crete, in Greece.

My research interests are in the field of High Energy Astrophysics. In particular, I am interested in the wind dynamics of obsecured population of binary stars revealed by INTEGRAL and the accretion processes in binary systems.
