Rock of Mangrt with Triglav in the background in the mid-2000-s.
I attempted it back in
the mid-1990-ies and had to return because of too much ice. I needed 10 years to be back
and climb it. Time is passing for us, mountains are patiently waiting.
View from the top of Mangrt- Jalovec is right, Triglav is left. I climbed
Triglav top from both
Kredarica and Lakes sides at the end of the last century.
When making this picture in 2004, it was obvious that Jalovec should be the
next.
It took me far too long.
About 15 yrs later, Triglav from the peak of Jalovec, finally! Without
anything between.
The three peaks, Triglav, Mangrt and Jalovec, are definitely among my
Masters.
There are nice rocks everywhere in Julian Alps. The view above is from the way
up from Zadnjica walley, still in the XXct,
and below is the view almost 30
years later from the square in Trenta village towards Zadnjica. The view did
not change,
but there is now a helpful board, revealing that here is a surprising view to
Triglav in the right corner, where one would not expect it:
Something completely different follows: a view from roads near Baoshan village
towards Central Mountain Range with up to
three thousand meters high peaks in
Hsinchu County, Taiwan:
Akçaenis, Anadolia, Turkey - spring is like this!
