About
I am an Associate Professor at the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland. I am working on a variety of topics regarding neutron stars and their gravitational wave emission.
Before coming to Warsaw I was a Discovery Early Career Researcher Award fellow at the University of Melbourne, Australia, where I worked with Andrew Melatos. I also worked at the Albert Einstein Institute in Golm, Germany with Luciano Rezzolla and was a Marie Curie Fellow at the Anton Pannekoek Astronomical Institute of the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands, where I collaborated with the group of Anna Watts.
I obtained my PhD in 2007 from the University of Southampton, where I worked under the supervision of Nils Andersson.
