Journal Club
Information for speakers

General rules
---------------

1. Journal club is organized every Monday in Barek room (next to the Library), 
   around. 11.00 am we have coffee and at 11.10 am we start. 
   We always have 2 speakers.
2. Time for each presentation is about 15 min. + 5 min. discussion. 
   Total duration of JClub should not exceed 45 min.
3. Speakers may share their time in a different way (e.g. 10 and 20 min) 
   but they have to discuss it between themselves. 
   
Sending the title of your presentation and astro-ph reference
-------------------------------------------------------------

1. The speakers are asked to send their titles by e-mail to 
   agnes@camk.edu.pl, agata@camk.edu.pl until Wednesday before their talks.
2. You may send an image to be printed on the poster with your title.
3. The speakers are also asked to send the astro-ph number for the article 
   they will be talking about. This number will be sent to the audience before 
   the JClub.
 
Bringing your presentation
-----------------------------

1. The speakers who want to use their own laptops, may bring them  
   on Monday, at 10.30 am to Barek. Please just inform us about that 
   until Friday before the talk. 
2. The speakers who do not bring their laptops,	are asked to inform us about 
   their needs by e-mail until Friday. In this case please send us your 
   presentations  to agnes@camk.edu.pl and cc to agata@camk.edu.pl 
   in PDF format:
   jc_yourname.pdf until Monday morning, 9.00 am.
3. The laptop owners may be asked to share their equipment with 
   another speaker. This will be set up on Friday.
4. The speakers who do not have laptops but do not want to use PDF format, 
   and in particular have movies, please inform us about that in advance. 
   You will be asked to bring your presentation until Friday afternoon 
   (or at least Monday 9.00 am, if you are just coming form the airport...) 
   and come to see if everything works on our equipment.
5. We kindly inform that we do not check the presentations with respect to 
   their content, fonts, pictures and movies. This is the responsibility 
   of the presentation's author. Of course, we are happy to help everyone 
   to solve technical problems.
6. The speakers who prefer to use an overhead projector, 
   please inform us about this fact until Friday afternoon.
